Executive Committee
Lucas Craig • President
Lucas is a second-year undecided engineering student with interests in engineering science, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, and (too) many other things. He hopes to minor in German. In his free time, Lucas enjoys reading, spending time with friends, appreciating the natural scenery around campus (especially the arboretum), learning interesting things, solving puzzles, and traveling. He is involved in several student organizations, including Math Club, German Club, PSU AiChE, and Engineers without Borders. If you want to say hi or ask him for his two cents, don’t hesitate to email him at lkc5576@psu.edu.
Paikea Houston • Vice-President
Graham Montrose • Finance Director
Graham is a member of the class of 2026 majoring in Security and Risk Analysis with a plan to complete his masters in International Affairs here at Penn State. He also hopes to minor in philosophy and potentially Russian. In his free time, Graham enjoys speedcubing, powerlifting, fencing, figure skating, reading, philosophy, and learning about a wide variety of topics. He is on the executive board of the PSU Rubik’s Cube Club and is also involved with Penn State’s powerlifting team hoping to qualify for Collegiate Nationals in 2023. If you’re interested in anything he does, want to know more about the GLOBE, or just want someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to come talk or email him at gml5547@psu.edu.
Mara Grigore • Communications Director
Mara is a sophomore majoring in Earth Science and Policy, and after Penn State, she will pursue the study of climate politics through law or grad school. She is hoping to get a certificate in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and a minor in Public Policy. Mara loves to ski, play music on the viola and cello, be outdoors, cook, and travel. Mara is involved in Music Service Club, Penn State Sustainability Ambassadors, and GIS research on campus. Mara wanted to be on GLOBE exec because she was able to find a Globie family last year that helped her transition to college by lessening the homesickness significantly, and she hopes to do the same for incoming Globies. Feel free to talk to or contact Mara through Group Me or email at mvg6010@psu.edu with any concerns, GLOBE or personal.
Residents
If it weren’t for these fine Penn Staters below, The GLOBE would never have grown to become the outstanding living/learning environment that it is today. Below are some of the annual GLOBE “class photos” since our founding in 2011.
